Melbourne Vixens recognises the importance of protecting your privacy, and we are committed to ensuring the security of the personal information you provide to us.  Netball Victoria (NV) is collecting your personal information (PI) to facilitate your application and provide requested products and services to you.  NV may use and disclose your PI as set out in this statement and our Privacy Policy (https://netball.com.au/privacy-policy).  If you do not provide your PI, we will not be able to provide certain products or services to you.  

How we handle your personal information

Information that we collect:

We need to collect some of your personal details to enable us to establish and maintain a relationship with you. The types of information we request will vary however we will usually ask for your name, age, address and other contact details (such as phone, fax and email) so we can communicate with you.

We may disclose your PI to other parties, including our affiliates, service providers, partners and sponsors (that may be located overseas from time to time).  We may use and disclose your PI to administer your requested products and services, to our affiliated organisations to facilitate netball competitions, programs and activities, provide you with news, promotions and offers, to contact you to help us improve our products and services, when engaging professional advisers including accountants, auditors and lawyers, and dealing with NV's insurer, unless you opt out (see our Privacy Policy for details on opting out).  Our Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access and seek correction of your PI, how to complain about a breach of your privacy, and how we will deal with that complaint.

We do not collect certain types of information (such as ethnicity, health or financial information) without your consent.

How we collect your information:
In most cases we collect personal information directly from you via our website https://shop.melbournevixens.com.au/.

When you visit our website, our Internet Service Provider records information (such as your server address and top level domain name, the type of browser you are using, the date, time and pages accessed) in relation to your visit for statistical purposes.
